The Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Program (JFMF), administered by the Japan-United States Exchange Commission and the Institute of International Education, offers teachers and administrators of grades 1-12 the opportunity for a fully-funded, three-week professional development opportunity in Japan.

The FMF program, established in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Fulbright Program, seeks to promote better understanding and friendship between the United States and Japan. Now in its 10 th year, FMF sends 600 educators annually to Japan to take part in an educational and cultural study visit.
